Detroit, Mich. – Sept. 27, 2008: 100 years ago today, production began for the legendary Ford Model T in the Ford Piquette Avenue Plant. To honor the centennial anniversary more than 50 Model Ts and other historic Ford vehicles participated in motorcade that began at Ford World Headquarters and visited the four locations that became historic landmarks as a result of its success, including the Ford Piquette Avenue Plant, Edsel & Eleanor Ford House, Henry Ford Estate – Fair Lane and The Henry Ford.
